LED on charging cord doesn't come on / battery not charging
Plugged charger in to the unit, the LED on the charging cord did not come on and the laptop is not receiving any power.
Went to the Apple store and tried one of their chargers and got the same result. no power to the unit. the salesperson at the store immediately stated that the logic board was the issue.
at $500 for the logic board, the unit is clearly not worth repairing.
If I have eliminated the charger as a possibility, does the mean that it is definately the logic board that is the problem or are there other possibilities
Any help would be appreciated, It seems to me that an $1600 laptop should last more than 4 years and that a charging issue shouldn't cost more that the unit is worth to fix.
thanks
Is this a good question?
