How come my phone vibrates every 5 seconds?

So I replaced the LCD and I got the black screen with the 2 vibrations. I understand that to be a bad digitizer. I did the system restore and had to stop when it asked for activation. So, afterwards, I was going to try and pull all the data off the phone, but I had to leave it over night and get back to it after work the next day. I come back to it and plug it in and now instead of the buzzing twice or bonging every second or so it will only vibrate once every 5 seconds. Anyone know what is going on? I have yet to find any information on this.
