My Nikon L620 has been working great. After I downloaded my last batch of pictures, the camera will now not turn on. The AA batteries are good for sure? Camera did not get wet or dropped. Thank you for any advice.

How sure are you about the batteries?
Cameras that use AA's often are very picky they MUST all 4 MUST be atleast 1.5V if one is 1.3 most wont turn on.
Also check the switches usually there is one on the body under the battery door, check to see if it is stuck or even broke off.
Lastly open her up and check your fuses

The batteries I’ve used are sometimes too long or too short, or the bottom doesn’t have enough exposed metal to make contact because of the way the outer (plastic sheet) cover on the battery was applied; the contact points on the door aren’t too well designed Try different batteries.
The door on mine went south and is now held closed with an external wire—aka reshaped paper clip
