not showing up in PC but it shows up on my laptop.

I made internal hard drive into an external hard drive. I plugged it into my PC and downloaded 2 GB file on it. BUT I didn't remove it using "safe to remove", instead I just unplugged it. And now its not showing up in PC but it shows up on my laptop.

Anyone know why? Need Help? Please.

Answer this question I have this problem too

What OS are you using?

it may help to know which interface you are using, and the os's and versions of the PC and the Laptop, as well as the file system used on this HD.

does the Harddisk show up on the PC at all?

Help us help you. The more complete the description of your problem is (exactly what computers you're using - there are many, exactly what OS you're using (on each) -there's a lot of those too, How you formatted the external also makes a difference in what OS/machines can "see" it. The fewer things we have to guess at the better and more useful the advice we can provide) and, the sooner we can provide it..

Press Windows Key + R, type diskmgmt.msc into the Run dialog, and press Enter. You should see your external drive listed in the Disk Management window. Even if it doesn't appear in your Computer window because it doesn't contain any partitions, it should show up here.
