Power Steering Pump Leakage and Squeaky Noise?

i have a power steering pump leakage problem with my 2002 Honda Accord SE 2.3L 4cyl Automatic. Pump is pulling air into the system with low pressure making a annoying sound while steering. Also i think the pump oil assembly system has some kind of blockage. Could please suggest how to get it fixed & where i could get a genuine suitable pump.

Sounds like you need a replacement, unless you know how to rebuild those pumps. As for where you get a new one, that will depend on where you reside. Are you planing on replacing it yourself?

I have a 2007 Honda Accord with a similar problem. Pump makes noise constantly and leaks fluid as well. The first thing to know about Honda cars is that you must ONLY USE HONDA FLUIDS! Good thing to know after you've replaced the faulty pump.

Trying to get mine replaced as well. Will keep you updated.

First you need to find the source of the leak next the sound your hearing is the pump running with low to no fluid . Once you fix the leak make sure you use only approved Honda steering fluid regular steering fluid or trans fluid which in most cars is fine will ruin you Hondas pump and rack. Once you have filled the system run the steering from side to side to help bleed the air from the system add fluid as you do this as needed. Watch for foaming in the reservoir. once the system is full and leak free you can better decide if there is damage to the pump, you should be able to see movement or flow of the steering fluid in the reservoir.

Hope this helps
