Depending on what/how much caused them to be sticky a very hot but only damp (not soaking wet) terry washcloth should do the trick for surface sticky.
if you think something sticky was spilled onto them you could remove them and was them in a dishwasher (top shelf only put them in a net lingerie bag). Air or towel dry them carefully after the wash.

My need is to replace the keyboard. After I proudly gave the pimped MBP to my daughter, she realised, that the keyboard is an US.
