Is it possible to upgrade the logic board to a new model?

I currently have a macbook pro, 13" late 2011 and I plan to change the logic board to a new model, given my understanding that it is somewhat doable with a mid 2012 model as the changes aren't significant, my 2 main concerns and goals for this is to have USB 3.0, and the get rid of HD 3000, Any ideas if this feasible ? and if so anything i should note or look out for ?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

No - you can not cross model years.

The best you can do is put a 2.8GHz '11 board in it.
