Consequences of not putting this back on (iPhone 5)

Hi, the other day i was replacing an iPhones 5's screen. I got a little frustrated so I finished up the repair without putting the metal plate that covers up the connections to the screen back on.

this will cause a problem when jogging with the phone or small drops etc. Screw it back on before you lose it---takes 2 minutes.

could be. the digitizer connector can easily lift up without the security of the shield.

Sometimes the connectors may come undone on their own, but very rarely. You should be fine. It's just always best to leave it like you got it.

Apple made the sheild for a reason so put it back on
