How can I fix my charger prongs?

Hi, so basically the prongs in my charger port had bent (every prong). I don't know how exactly, it was just in my pocket fine, and then a couple hours later the prongs were bent. Is there any way I can fix this or is this lost hope.

use a small needle or toothpick (or break the end of the toothpick in half) and realign them??
