WiFi: "No hardware installed" after switching logic board.
Hi, I was gifted a busted up A1260 with a damaged display panel and keyboard. I bought another A1260 with a faulty logic board (needs a GPU reflow), new display panel and I/O board.
After switching out the logic board for the one from the busted up A1260, I cannot get OS X to see the Broadcom wireless. Bluetooth works, so the 'Airport' card is being picked up. WiFi was fine on the busted up MacBook, so I tried switching out the airport card, but no dice. Both OS X 10.10 on the hard drive from the busted up MacBook and 10.9.3 on the hard drive from the purchased MacBook report the same problem.
I'm guessing I've not connected something back up correctly, but what could it be? Bit of a newb scratching my head here... ;-)
Is this a good question?
