Do not know where this component goes in iPhone 4, help please?

I was replacing the LCD panel on my iPhone, and everything seemed to go well until reassembly of the motherboard. I was left with this tiny part which I do not know where to place. It is very tiny and I guess goes near the top. I attach a picture, and the screw driver is the tiny ones used for iPhone repair for scaling purposes. Any help please? Thanks much.

It's too small to see clearly. Can you just tell what it like? Metal or plastic? If has the hole for screws? Or just take a much clearer picture.

Thank you for your response. I am attaching one more pic but afraid it is not much better than the old one. It is metallic. Imagine an oval shaped ring with a tiny protrusion on one end of it. Now imagine that the oval shape is bent in half giving rise to something springlike with a protrusion on one side of the spring. This is the best I can do by way of explanation. Thanks again.
