where can i find a capacitor 100uf 16v? it was all I could read its silver short cylinder off logic board.

david bonney, that will depend on the package of the capacitor. Since you are talking about a silver cylinder, it stands to reason you are not talking about an SMD type, but an electrolytic cap. Give us at least your computers serial number so we can properly identify which iMac you are working on. It will also help us to identify the logic board and the components.
