The place to start would be the LCD connector. You can access the plastic flex ribbon LCD connector by removing the camera cover on the back with a pry tool, removing the 3 silver screws underneath the cover, then using the pry tool to carefully remove the back starting along the bottom edge popping the clips one by one, and then up the sides and last across the top.

Make sure you're not on any conductive or static discharge surface once the cover comes off.

It would pay to disconnect the battery (middle of the motherboard) before going further - you do this by using a non-conductive tool (plastic pry tool or some-such) to lift the connector up and out from the cable (wires) end.

With the back off and the camera down (closest to you), the LCD connector is the plastic flex ribbon left-most of those crossing the battery. It'll probably be marked LCD. Start by removing the motherboard end, then the LCD end, -reinsert the LCD end, then the motherboard end. Don't forget to pop open the flip gate before removing the cable from it's locator, then reinsert it as far as it will go back into the connector (the line on the LCD cable will align with the one on the board) and close the flip gate to lock it in.

Finally, reconnect the battery, test the screen if you wish, then close up the tablet by refitting the back - you need to fit it bottom edge first using your finger to hold the top away from the tablet so the clips will latch, then up the sides and finally across the top. Refit the 3 silver screws then re-attach the camera cover. If the sticky tape isn't sticky any longer, a soapy wash will make it sticky again when it's dry.

Hope this helps.
