Battery doesn't charge when it's empty, but charges when device is on.

Hi,

An iphone 5 of a customer doesn't charge when the battery is empty. But when I put a battery in with electricity the iphones start up and it charges up. But when the battery is empty again and the device falls down it won't charge again.

I tried several dockconnectors/lcd's/batteries, but it doesn't help.

Can someone help me?

Options

This is a symptom of U2 charging logic ic failure---the chip is very sensitive to unregulated voltage spikes in aftermarket chargers.
