Recently replaced a topcase for my MacBook Core 2 duo black, and the keyboard and mouse still does not work. Any Suggestions? Before I learned I needed a replacement top case, I took it to the mac store and they suggested I needed a top case replacement. I went ahead and replaced the part and still nothing. Stumped. Can somebody help?

Go over all your connectors again. Often DIYers think that connections are good, but on second look find they were not square, snapped in, or ribbon cables were not inserted fully, right side up, and cams locked down.
If you are positive that the connectors are good talk with your vendor to find out history and how the part was verified as working.

Took a look at everything you said, It still did not work. This was after I put in another brand new part. Any other suggestions?
