Is it possible to upgrade my early 2008 iMac 24" 2.4 ghz Intel to blutooth 4.0?

Sadly, no.
This model has two independent boards one for WiFi (AirPort) and a second for Bluetooth. Only the combo AirPort boards have been possible on the newer systems.

That's what I needed to know. I recently got the iMac for free and was an in the process of figuring out what all I can upgrade on it. Thank you for the answer.
