Lost screws, can not find replacement

Hi

I kept an ipad mini in for a repair couple of months ago for an LCD but customer didn't have the money straight away, so broke the ipad down so all I had to do was put the thing back together.

I put the LCD x4 & Plate screws in a sealed sandwhich bag......and I can't find it!!!!

I've taken the kitchen cupboards off the wall thinking the bag fell down the back but nothing!

I can find screws for every ipad apart from the Mini (i'm in the UK)

Is there anything else compatible to use?

Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

You mean the four 3.9 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the LCD to the rear case? Try other repair shops or hardware stores in your area.

i have hunted these screws many times---extremely difficult to find in the marketplace.

When I'm forced to make a substitute, I use the iPad 1 LCD screws, and I try to just substitute 1 on several different minis until I can use three original and 1 iPad 1 screw.

Are all screw necessary when replacing the antenna or is it okay if I'm missing one?
