What to take care of, when changing digitizer?

I bought an iPad Mini Wifi with broken glas. I already repaired a lot of iPhones, but this is my first iPad Mini.

What do I have to take care of, when buying a new digitizer and fixing/changing the broken one?

Some descriptions say, there is no IC chip included, some others mention that their digitizer supports sleep function (are there some that don´t?).

I´m no soldering expert, so unless it isn´t really easy I´d prefer an all in one solution. Changing a home button by removing screws or some adhesive of course is no problem.

In the end it should be as cheap as possible.

Thanks for your help.

You need take care when lifting the ditsier of the case, the ribbon is located on the bottom right hand side of your iPad. I would advise you to but the digitiser with the IC connector as soldering it is not a easy task to perform. It will save you loads of time and frustration :) and also make sure you buy the screen with adhesive on this is another time saving option. Home button on iPad mini is solder to the digitiser flex and again is very fiddly to solder on. Make sure all chips are covered on the flex as this will cause iPad to do all sort of crazy things.
