Do magnets still hurt Macs and iPhones?

Do magnets still hurt Macs and iPhones? I remember when magnets used to hurt computers and phones, but know days they seem to have them in them. So do magnets no longer hurt our iPhones and Macs?

Yes - for certain values of "magnet". A rare-earth magnet or a very powerful magnet (think MRI machine) could cause problems, but even 'back in the day" people had stuck the flat paper disks (remember those?) to refrigerators with magnets and not had issues.

What I mean is if a magnet falls on your Mac or iPhone would that hurt it? This didn't happen to me I was just wondering.

I would think damage would more likely be caused by the wallop than by magnetics.
