Bluetooth Module compatible with Yosemite

My system is MacBook Pro 17" Early 2011 and doesn't support handoff in Yosemite. Is it possible to upgrade the bluetooth module to newer models that support handoff ? If yes, can you give part # and how to replace the module ?
