Hello, what is speed of SATA port (for HDD) in this Power Mac? And can it boot from PCI SSD?

They came with Serial ATA (1.5 Gb/s)connectors/bus

Could you find ann SSD that slow? How would you mount it (there would be no internal slots) ? Perhaps with an Opti-bay kit… I've never tried that.

There may be problems with a lot of the PCI SSD cards. Do you have a PCI x slot on this machine? To be sure please give us the last three figures of your serial number and the card that you are looking at.
