Will a A1260 Lower Case work as a A1226 Replacement?

MacBook Pro 15" (Model A1226) Lower Case

There is a link to the case I need. But would getting a case designed for an A1260 work?

Unfortunately, the A1260 Lower Case is not a compatible replacement for the A1226 Lower Case.
