no signal/ wifi, why?

I have repaired the lightning port in my iPhone 5, I have done this before folliwng the same guide and everything was fine! this time though after my repair my phone will no longer pick up signal OR wifi. what has happened and what needs to be repaired to fix this problem???

Is wifi greyed out or just weak?

If you removed the motherboard then make sure you connected the wifi antenna that sits under the motherboard
