Replaced loudspeaker, got sound for short time then stopped again

Hi, my iPhone 5s sustained water damage thanks to my 1 year old son. It worked fine for several months after an extensive drying process, but the loudspeaker stopped working recently. I replaced the loudspeaker once and got no sound- exchanged the part for another and tried again. This time after installing the new loudspeaker, I had sound for about 5 seconds, then it stopped again. Is there a connection that possibly needs cleaned, or any other suggestions to get sound back?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

First off, I would try scrubbing all connection areas with 99% isopropyl alcohol and making sure that everything is sitting down exactly as it should be. If that doesn't help, try replacing the flex that the loudspeaker connects to. (the charger port flex i think)
