The usb port came off the circuit board.

You do have some work here. First you'll need to get a USB3 cable to cut the end off so you can solder on the wires to the PCB. Don't loose the connector as you'll need to figure out using a Ohm meter what the pins to and the USB port connections line up. This is were the cut end of the cable will help you as you'll plug it into the bare socket then wire up the PCB by the color code you discover by your Ohm meter. Good Luck!
