wifi incorrect password after battery change

Greetings,

I am using IOS 6.1.3, and after changing the battery, my WIFI will not connect. I have reset the network settings and fixed the clock to get my service back, but when attempting to connect to WIFI, it almost immediately says "incorrect password". It's like it doesn't even ask the router if it's correct. However, when I disable router security, the phone connects. I am not sure what's going on. I've tried resetting the network settings and rebooting the phone. I have not tried restoring the phone, and would prefer to avoid doing that.

pretty sure it's the correct password. i even tried changing it to a simple 11111111 on WPA2 and it still won't connect.

What you might try doing is update the software. A lot of people don't like the new iOS but, if you don't update, smaller issues like this may occur.
