Why is their white lines on my screen.

So I was playing destiny 830 Tuesday and idling on the tower and all of a sudden white lines appeared on the screen and ps3 froze. It would not power off so I unplugged it. I replied in and turned in and their was no display just a black acreen. Talked to psn and dud safe mode a few times and nothing tried unplug for 19 minutes nithing. Left unplugged over night it turned on with display and told me to send the error to psn so it took a while and then the white lines reappeared and froze. So I unplugged again over 5 hours turned on signed in about 3 minutes the lines appeared again and froze. Turned off re try to turn on black screeen. To day turned in worked 2 minutes same lines ps3 froze. Unplugged another few hours worked 3 minutes froze lines moved little bit and froze. Shut off turned back on and the lines kept changing then froze turned back on no display a black screen. Currently unplugged
