What about the second generation vita?

I have the newer Ps vita. I damaged the shoulder buttons though water damage. I need help getting into the newer version. Thank you for your time.

I read some forums about people with the same problem. It seems the water sticks to the shoulder buttons and makes the system think they're being continually pressed down.

Take off the back if your confident enough, then clean the area affected with alcohol cleaner
