L button stuck and won't spring back up

i dropped it on the stairs and it took two hits the the L-button and now it is stuck and won't spring back up when i press it. i have tried blowing on it. i tried putting like a little greese to make it slippery and sping back up, but nothing is working please help me

please don't say blow on it. cause it doesn't frkin work

Most likely when it hit the floor it actually bent the piece of plastic that surrounds the button. The best way to fix this is to take it apart and try to carefully bend that piece of plastic that the button rubs on back a little.

I have even fixed this problem by taking a hobby knife and shaving off a small bit of the plastic that it gets hung up on. This worked well.

I don't know how stuck it is or whether you can even fix it without putting a new lower case on but these are the things that have worked for me.

It's also possible that there are some other things going on internally that are causing the problem.

yes thank you i took a pocket knife and just was picking at it and got a little piece out and it's not as bad as it was, but it's do able
