iPhone reboots after apple logo

I have some very strange problems with my iPhone 4S (16GB), I got it from my friend and he doesn't know why the iPhone can't start anymore.

If I turn on the phone, I see the Apple Logo and after some seconds, the phones crashes and is restarting in a loop, always crashing on the Apple Logo. It looks like something is termenating the phone - is there a problem with the bootloader?

I tried several things:

  • Turn phone in DFU-Mode -> iTunes Recovery -> iPhone is restarting during the Recovery and loops
  • Turn phone in Recovery-Mode -> iTunes Recovery -> iPhone is restarting during the Recovery and loops again
  • Turn phone on and hold the upper volume button -> reboots after some more seconds

I tried to restore the IPSW file from Apple Server for iOS 7.1.2.

Here is a video:

I also can't restore any files with programs like "Wondershare Dr. Fone" - the program needs a phone which can boot up.

So, does anyone know any more tricks or something how I can "repair" the iPhone?

OR: Does it look like a "dead battery"?

Thanks!

Amazing! Thank you con - I could turn on the phone with disconnected power flex cable. I then re-plugged it and Button works again - with unplugged battery.

So I tried something else: Power flex cable plugged in again (all cables are plugged in) except the batterie!

I can turn on the phone with the charger and battery disconnected. With connected battery, phone crashes...

Whats wrong here - problem with the charging IC, is it possible to repair?

Thank you very much!

I tried today to change the battery (Repair Kit from ifixit).

Badly the same issue... The phone crashes when I turn it on or when I trie to recover in Recovery or DFU-Mode...

Does anyone know how I can fix this, is this a "normal" problem?

Hi, you mean to disconnect the power button flex cable and then plug it in again? Then reassembling and start the phone?

My iPhone 4s is having the same issue but when I disconnect battery and connect with just power flex connected to charger it doesn't even boot while I know that iPhone 4&4s can boot with just power cable connected and better removed. I think it's an NAND \ memory issue. Here is my link for iphone 4s problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66aTUgxP...
