iPhone will not power on unless power flex is unplugged

Hello!

I replaced the LCD/Digitizer on the iphone 4 cdma phone and unfortunately used a defective screen without knowing.. I think.. The screen turned on once and it was pyscadelic looking at best for about 2 seconds and shut off..

Now what happens is the phone will not power on unless the power/mic/prox sensor is unplugged. (with a replacement lcd/digi)

Just ordered a power flex cable.. Do you think it will fix my issue? Anything else I can try in the mean time?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There are three possibilities causing the problem:

1. The power button sucked in and kept pressing the contactor.

2. The power key contactor on the flex sucked in.

3. Improper position to place the flex, which causes the press.

So when you place the new power flex cable, you should pay attention to the position and the power button to avoiding kinds of pressing.

Good luck to you!
