Black screen after screen swap, any ideas?

I changed the screen on my daughters ipod touch 5th gen for the 3rd time in 6 months & now i am getting nothing but a black screen. It is recognized by itunes but i'm not getting an image. I checked the replacement screen on an icloud locked model i bought for parts & it works great. I have checked the connections multiple times & still nothing. Any ideas?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Tried the soft reset, still nothing. Rechecked the connections again & they look good & notice on one attempt the backlighting was on for a very short time but after another attempted reset it didn't come on either. Is there a chance if fried something on the board. I've done about 10 screen swaps on the same model & have had luck before with the soft reset but this one just is not showing anything on the screen.

Are you able to take a high resolution picture of the pcb around the connector. It is possible you flicked off a component with your fingernail or spudger if you did not realize they were their.

While the new screen is plugged in do a soft reset by holding the home and power button down till you see a apple symbol. At least 20 secs to be sure.
