My backlite screen is completely dark. I am barely able to see any users. I purchased a new screen but it's still doing the same thing. Is there any way I could just replace the inverter instead of buying a whole screen?

pattersonsharanne, the MBA does not have an inverter in the usual sense. It utilize LED backlight and has the circuitry for that on the logic board. There is a fuse to could check to see if that has failed. Otherwise you are looking at lots of trouble shooting. It will help if you give us your computers serial number so we can properly identify your hardware. Hope this helps, good luck.
