Can I swap logic board and parts from different carriers?

My AT&T 4s screen cracked recently. I have access to a sprint 4s. Could I simply swap my parts into the other phone to make the replacement process easier?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

In this case you could swap the screens. A lot of the other parts are quite different though. What you will need to do is remove the screen from the sprint one and put it on the AT&T one.

I was planning on this button if could just take out my parts without having to deal with the screen it would be easier. Also, my phone has slight water damage in the USB port so I would love to use the other phone for that

Yes, iPhone 4S is iPhone 4S. The ATT logic board will remain ATT, and the Sprint will remain Sprint, but all the iPhone 4S parts are identical and compatible. The same is not true for iPhone 4, only iPhone 4S.

So there wont be any problems with the antennas or anything like that? My iPhone (at&t) is kinda beat up and has minor water damage in the USB port so if I could use the actual hardware of the sprint model that would be great

So has anyone actually done the GSM<->CDMA motherboard swap proposed above as possible on a 4S?

I too have a good GSM/ATT/ mobo (working on Tmo) trapped in a beat up iphone 4s (cracked screen, bad microphone). It seems very tempting to swap this into a cheap Sprint 4S (removing only the sprint motherboard).
