Won't turn on with battery but will with adapter battery shows 100%

I replaced a broken screen. Powered up and everything was fine until I noticed the microphone screen was missing. Disassembled and installed screen and after that it would not turn on.Tried to pwr up with the adapter. When it is plugged in it works but it won't work when unplugged.

I have this same exact problem. Also it says it's always searching for a signal and it can't connect to wifi...would getting another battery fix that as well??
