Replaced LCD screen, now no boot!
I hope someone can give me some suggestions. I cracked the LCD screen on my MacBook and decided to replace it myself. After following the step-by-step directions on a different website (http://www.PowerBookmedic.com/manual.php...), I got everything put back together and now the machine won't boot.
When I press the power button, the power light on the front near the IR sensor comes on, and the screen flashes (as my old one did), but there's no noise from the optical drive and nothing else happens.
I'm going to take it apart again tomorrow and follow the directions on this site. - I'm hoping it's simply a cord that isn't fully connecting. Since the machine was working fine this morning (just with a cracked screen) it doesn't make sense to me for it to be anything serious like the logic board. Any ideas?
Is this a good question?

You say <<When I press the power button, the power light on the front near the IR sensor comes on, and the screen flashes (as my old one did)>> then you say << Since the machine was working fine this morning (just with a cracked screen) >>. So what was the machine stattus before you replaced the screen ? Also, was the machine dropped ? Any damage to the hinges ? When you replaced the LCD did you take off the display from the machine or simply removed the LCD with the display still attached to the machine ?
