2 vertical lines in the lcd

So I replaced the digitizer on an ipad air last night. I got it put together and powered it up and all seemed well. Once I went to button it up I noticed 2 vertical pinstripe lines on the LCD. I figured that the cable needed reseating but that did not remedy the issue. I did not remove the metal shield from the LCD cable and am thinking maybe I should do that and them try a reseat. I'm here probing for similar experiences and maybe some advice/comforting lol. Any words of encouragement are welcome. Thanks ifix it community.
