sim card installed but message says no sim card

inadvertently put sim card card tray in wrong way and it got jammed. Tried gently jimmying it out with nail file, etc., and eventually got it out by slipping a sim card in. But now iPhone wont recognize the presence of any sim card.

use the logic board guide to disassemble your iPhone, chekc the sim card reader for bent contacts - realign the contacts with a very small screwdriver - but be careful.

if you don't have the tools for that, you can order them from ifixit, the list of the needed tools is in the guide
