overheated iPhone 5 won't charge

left my iphone 5 charging in the car - got a high temperature message on the phone - now it works but the phone won't charge or connect to a computer - I have tired 3 chords

First thing to try is a new lighting port then see if it will charge 3rd party chargers and iPhone 5 don't mix to well
