my vizio 42" VO420E has a cracked screen and i have no clue where to begin to find the part to replace the screen. i dont even know what part it is when i look it up i get lost. can anyone help?

Lord Xombie, cracked screen are a major PITA. It is very expensive to get a new panel. Most of the time, it will cost more that a new TV. I'd try to see if you can get a broken one with a good panel and exchange the LCD.

Well i did get the TV for free because of the cracked screen. So if i have to spend money in it and its not over the cost of some other TV i want Im more than glad to sink the money into the project. Besides i like projects like this. i just want to know what parts i would need for my modle because when i look around im not getting the ones for mine. if i could see how much they cost then ill decide what to do.
