iPod just keeps switching on to this big red cross.

I'm also having problems. I wish someone could help!

I just upgraded the HD of my iPod Classic with one 240GB HD, same model and everything correct as the instructions on iFix it claim.

I reasured that everything was plugged in correctly into place. But the iPod just keeps switching on to this big red cross. I guess I need to format the HD but iTunes, or Mac Disck Tool does not recognice the iPod.

I try to run the system tests and it gets stuck in the HP connection test ( I guess it's for headphones, I plug in some but it does nothing...)

So please, I would like to know what is the problem and if I can fix it. I spended a lot of money on this upgrade and I would love to have my 233GB iPod working
