How to fix screen flickering after power on?
Suddenly my MacBook's screen has started to flicker after power on and after wake up for about a minute. After that, it's fine again.
Sometimes the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds. Then it's just flickering randomly and occasionally showing like horizontal lines.
After a minute or so, everything is back to normal.
It is not the backlight, since I can adjust the brightness using F1 and F2 keys even when the screen goes blank.
Any suggestions how to fix it? Thanks a lot!
EDIT: It looks like it only happens when I power on the MacBook or wake it from sleep after I haven't used it for a while and it is cold. After it has heated up for a minute, it's just fine.
Is this a good question?
Hama, what are the last four digits of your computers serial number? this will help us to properly identify your hardware.

Which serial number do you mean? It's a Macbook5,1, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GHz, 13 Inch, Unibody, Late 2008, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB running Os X 10.9.4.

Has anyone been into the machine? Any work on the LCD or any reason the LDVS cable might have been disconnected?

No, not really. I upgraded it to 8GB RAM and a SSD 6 months ago. But it's working fine since then.
