Would wwan board affect anything else other than internet?

While replacing the WiFi connector on my iPad 2 CDMA, since everything else used tape, I thought wwan board was attached by tape and I tried removing it so I could lift logic board. In doing research, I have found that I permanently broke and cannot replace this without buying a brand new logic board. Do I need wwan board for anything else? Power button not working and wondering if related or just a coincidence. Thank you.

You might not want to upgrade or reinstall iOS after that. The WWAN board is required for upgrading/activating your iPad. Without your original set of two boards, the iPad will be bricked if you try to upgrade/reinstall. There is no way out of this.
