Hi, so my laptop has been "updating" for almost 24hrs straight and will not let me turn it off or let me use it. The screen says: "Working on updates 100% complete Don't turn off your computer". It has been like this for awhile. I don't know how to get it to where I can use it or even turn it off.

There is a point when you need to bite the bullet. At this point I think you'll need to pull the power cord and hope for the best.

As has been mentioned, it's stating 100% complete, but appears to need a response/user input before shutting down.
- there may be a hidden window/pop-up asking for a decision.
At this point (many hours of waiting) I'd say it's safe to true off the unit. When booting back up it should continue it's update.
