Screen replacement says "do not bend" but videos do bend it?

Hi,

I replace some screens on friends iPhones but my last 2 screens from a new supplier did not work ?

His screens had a sticker on the screen pointing to a specific area which then said "Do not bend here" but all of the videos I find from top companies show the screen getting bent on this exact spot.

Can anyone tell me what is going on ?

i'm guessing its the ribbons you're referring to, if so you can bend them but be careful not to tear them
