Replaced screen, but missing some touch sensitivity

Just replaced the screen in my iPhone 4 and while testing, I noticed that there is no touch sensitivity on the top keyboard row (QWER..).

It seems like it is a straight line horizontally without touch. Otherwise everything seems to work fine.

What kind of issue would this be?

Would it be a completely screwed up screen or maybe it's just dirty there or what? Or too much pressure?

Monte, this sounds like a digitizer malfunction. I would contact the vendor and replace it once more. It is very unlikely that this is a loose cable and dirty connector, but you do want to take a look at those as well. Hope this helps, good luck.
