Device dead. RTC Battery oxidated

Hi folks,

we are a small telco company from northern Italy. We have a Nokia 6630 with some specialized measurment sw loaded. The sw license is hardcoded to the devide, therefore I absolutley need to fix it ;)

The phone does not start anymore. So I opened it with my protech toolkit and found the RTC battery oxidated. I cleaned the green patina off the battery connector and took out the battery (code XH414H). I desperately need to find a replacement.

Do you know anypne selling these kind of spare parts? did you have any other cases like this?

Thank you!

Christian

christiancanal, the XH414H is actually a lead free high voltage-resistant reflowable capacitor rated to 3.3V.

Nominal Voltage (V) 3.3V

Electrostatic Capacity (F) 0.07

Internal Resistance (Ω) 70

Weight 0.07 g

Diameter 4.8mm

Height 1.4 mm

Looks like this one is a match and you can also get them from Digikey.com. Of course that is for the US market, as for Northern Italy, I am not sure. Anytime you have that much corrosion, you will have to clean your board properly with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush and you will have to repeat that a few times.
