iPhone has cracked screen. Help?

I have cracked my screen pretty bad and I was wondering if I could get some tips or help to repair it.

Best way to do this repair is to follow a guide on youtube. I have posted a link below which you may find useful. There are also step by step guides on ifixit "Guides" Section if you prefer that

The digitizer on a 3 is fairly straight forward to repair, you have just got to take your time with it. The parts are also very cheap

Hello there if it's not turning on it could be the lcd or battery to check this plug into iTunes on a computer and see does iTunes reconise it if you think the battery has gone flat since the break leave it connected for 20 minutes as it won't reconise until it boots til the main screen..

If it reconises it and the screen is still blank then the lcd is damaged if it's not reconises then it could be a battery
