My iPhone's screen cracked, Screen white afterwards. Help me fix it!

Okay, so look, after I had accidently dropped my 3GS, it's screen cracked, and after picking it up and turning it on to make sure it was okay, it was completely white. I couldn't see what I was doing, but tried my best to get around my phone, oh, and it still is usable, I knew where the slider was, some of my apps I had, but, what I couldn't do is text, watch videos, look at my contacts, and more... I am looking forward for someone to help me, I will greatly appreciate it!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. but it is called the "screen of death". Your LCD display is broken and needs replacement.. your Digitizer is what responds to touch which is working, but it all gets replaced as one piece. There are plenty on people that fix these problems fairly cheep (approx. $20-40). You can purchase a new screen on eBay or Amazon ,and for some repairmen will reduce the cost of the fix and labor is all you will be paying for. If you are skilled, you can do it yourself like I do, but you have to be VERY careful and know exactly what you are doing or you can just make it worse... Well I hope this helps!
