iPhone 4S : what is this part please / small black conector

Hello

i followed all the "iPhone 4S Display Assembly Replacement" and at the end my phone works perfectly.

But, there is a small pece that i forgot and i cant see where it does come from ...

its a black metal connector approx 4mm x 5mm

anyone got an idea of where its taking place and if its really necessary :p

Sits under the top screw of the battery it's the ground clip
